Benefit world famous neutrals: most glamorous nudes ever

I'm a huge fan of benefit makeup so far I haven't found a product that has disappointed me, i've always liked the look of the benefit world famous neutrals palettes but never picked one up so when I got this little beauty from my brother and his fiancé for my birthday I was more than excited, out of all the eyeshadow boxes that they do most glamorous nudes ever would have been the one that I picked up. most glamorous nudes ever is the palette with the warmest, golden tones in which floats my boat perfectly.

The kit contains four longwear powder eyeshadows:
  • Call my buff - creamy pale shell
  • Kiss me, i'm tipsy - spiced brown
  • It's complicated - golden peach
  • Gilt-y pleasure - golden sand

And two creaseless cream eyeshadows:
  • Birthday suit - brushed chrome
  • My two cents - polished copper

I've been reaching for this palette over all of my others recently and has become a staple in my everyday makeup routine, I like that the formula isn't too powdery instead the eyeshadows are buttery soft and blend together nicely which is what I look for in eyeshadows. i've especially fallen in love with the shades it's complicated and Kiss me, I'm tipsy as they're both unique to my eyeshadow collection and pair really nicely together, the pigmentation of these eyeshadows are fantastic. I like that they have offered two all over the lid colours, a definition colour and a highlight for the inner corners and brow bone, I feel that this really makes the product a good investment as you have everything you need in a neat little box, this palette is basically fool proof.
It's complicated all over the lid and kiss me, i'm tipsy in the crease

I do love the packaging, once again benefit put a quirky edge to what could be boring packaging but It's not very travel friendly as it's too bulky. I really liked that it included a tips and tricks leaflet attached to the top so if you're unsure how to use or where to place the eyeshadows it's a nifty little guide that tells you how-to, I ripped out the guide and kept it to the side as it kept falling down and I was worried that it was going to damage the eyeshadows.

I already own a benefit creaseless cream eyeshadow in R.S.V.P and i've fallen in love with it, it seriously doesn't budge off the eyelids so when I saw that the kit contained two mini samples sizes I was beyond excited. the shade 'my two cents' is the one that caught my eye the most as i'm currently loving the copper eye look.

Overall I'm completely loving this eye kit and would recommend it to anyone that wants to try some products from benefit - it's a good place to start!

Benefit they're real!

Everyone and their mum goes on about how much they love this mascara, I kept telling myself I wasn't going to buy into the hype... but I brought it. this is actually my second tube and I repurchased it again and have finally decided to give my opinion on it.
It's the best mascara I have used so far, simple as that. The wand is hard plastic bristles with a ball on the end which makes it easy to grip and coat every single eyelash with mascara and because of the these bristles, I have personally found that this mascara doesn't clump at all on me.
It's extremely black and long lasting... and that's where the downfall comes in, it's very hard to get off at the end of the day with a normal makeup remover and cotton wool pad! I massage the Loreal 15 second miracle oil cleanser all over my face and eyes and it dissolved all my eye makeup and mascara easily, I have found that's the only way to get this mascara off effectively without tugging at my eyes.
I love the benefit packaging, and the whole brand as a whole. I love their products, especially this one I don't know how I went a couple of months without having this in my life.

The one and only tag

The Question: If you could only have one ______ what would it be? And, in a few words, why?

Primer
Benefit's The POREfessional Primer - This is my all time favorite primer, smoothes out my pores, it makes my makeup go on like a dream and It lasts forever

Base Product
Nars sheer glow foundation - I don't think I've ever tried a foundation that I love more than this, perfect colour match and coverage! although it's pricey I would rather pay extra on a product that will make my skin look good over anything else!

Concealer
Collection lasting perfection concealer - Cheap, brilliant coverage and I can use it under my eyes and on pesky blemishes.

Powder
Rimmel's Stay Matte Powder - I like that the transparent version of this powder has absolutely no colour to it and it keeps me matte all day!

Blush (cream or powder)
Benefit Bella Bamba - this is the only blush colour that I can hands down say that I really like on my face, most blushes make my face look weird but this is a beautiful warm mid tone pink that gives me the perfect flush of colour!

Bronzer
Benefit Hoola - I like that this bronzer has no shimmer to it at all and it's not too dark on my skintone, perfect for contouring and bronzing! I've had mine since may last year and i've only hit pan last month and I use it nearly every single day!

Highlighter
Soap and glory Glow all out - I like that this highlighter gives you a nice sheen to your face and it has no large chunks of glitter in it, it's also a nice pinky gold colour instead of white / cream so it's a bit of a warmer tone.

Make-Up Brush (single)
The Real Techniques Buffing Brush - This was an obvious choice for me, I can't live without this brush now and I hate the times that i've had to apply my foundation with my hands when i've left it at home. it applies my foundation like a dream and blends everything together nicely.

Eyebrow Product
MAC charcoal brown eyeshadow - well, I know this is an eyeshadow but this it hands down the best product I've used on my brows, it makes them look well defined without being over the top, and did I mention it's a great colour match?

Eye shadow (single)
MAC all that glitters - A perfect all over the lid colour, it's a beige champagne with shimmer that makes your eyes pop.

Eyeliner
Maybelline lasting drama gel liner - I've used this product for over a year now and it's the best eyeliner I have ever tried, makes doing my winged eyeliner a piece of cake and it doesn't budge all day!

Mascara
Benefit they're real! - This mascara just gives you lashes that are full of volume and length, the brush is able to coat every hair so you're not left with clumpy lashes, although it's a pricey product I would definitely repurchase this product again and again.

Lipstick, Lip Gloss or Lip Stain
Revlon just bitten kissable balm stain in lovesick - My favorite lip product ever, I love how it makes my lips look and it lasts for hours! it's a very wearable bright pink that I often wear during the day

Lip Liner
I don't use lip liners, apart from one from max factor in "red rush" which I hardly use, I need to branch out more in this department, any cheap suggestions?

Lip Balm
Blistex intensive moisturiser - whenever I feel that my lips are in really bad condition I use this and by the next day I see results, moisturisers brilliantly but I wouldn't wear it during the day as it leaves a white cast on your lips.

Nail Polish
Essie ladylike - this is a polish I always go back to, I have to wear neutral colours for work anyway, but I adore this colour so much, very classic and natural looking! also, did I mention that with a top coat I can make this last a week? extra points for you there Essie!

I tag everyone to do this! Don't forget to link me to your 'one and only' tag post so I can check out yours!

Beauty haul

Worlds worst blogger award goes to myself! I've used all of these products already, bad right? I can't seem to hold back the temptation, well at least the products aren't half empty!
Asda currently have an offer on NSPA products, two for £4 so I did a little mix and matching and brought the Peach shower gel, and the creamy coconut body spray and oh sweet baby jesus, both of these products smell incredible! I just wish that they did the peach scent in the body spray, that would be just snazzy, the coconut body spray smells divine, I like to layer it with my estee lauder bronze goddess perfume and I smell like summer all day.
whilst browsing the boots website (which may I add I too way too often) I noticed that hydraluron was 1/3 off bringing it down to £16.65, say what? bargain! Sadly it was sold out online and had to go to TWO boots shops before I could find it in stock, and whilst I was there I picked up the bourjois colour boost lipstick in Fuchsia libre, I was going to buy "peach on the beach" which cutest name ever, but in general I can't get peachy colours to work for my complexion so sadly I left that behind.
Oh benefit, how I love you and your quirky packaging and beautiful products... I repurchased the Benefit they're real! Mascara, and brought a creaseless cream shadow in R.S.V.P because at the moment I have an obsession with cream shadows... I don't know where it's sprung from or why.
Also, you can now see how small Rio really is... in the picture of him he's stood next to a 500ml bottle, what a cutie patootie.

Review | Benefit browzings

I'm a sucker for benefit products, everything I buy from them I instantly fall in love with, including this product. Benefit browzings is an eyebrow kit, which retails at £23.50 (If you're a student and on Unidays, you can get 10% off from benefit on asos all the time). The product comes in 3 different shades (light, medium and dark) so this is suitable for people with fair hair too! I use the shade dark because it was the best match for my brows. My natural eyebrows are uneven, and sparse... I used to get picked on for having 'a hairy face' and I had thick eyebrows, so one day I decided to start plucking them until eventually I only had half of my eyebrows left and they looked awful, which then meant people commented on how bad they looked, for a young girl this really made me lack in confidence so I've always had a fringe to cover my forehead and eyebrows, in the last year or more I decided I don't want a fringe anymore, and my eyebrows have grown back and i've been okay with them, and now i'm trying again to grow them back a tiny bit so the natural shape is more flattering and I don't have to fill my eyebrows in so much. Sorry for the life story of my eyebrows, but there it is!

This product has become a staple in my everyday routine and I'm in love with it, Although I fill in my eyebrows quite a lot, most of my friends and my boyfriends family didn't even know I used any product on my eyebrows and always remark on how nice they look. Depending on how you use it, you can make your eyebrows look extremely natural or slug-like creatures!. the kit contains a wax, a powder, mini tweezers and two brushes in a compact with a mirror, which makes it travel friendly and you don't have to dig through your makeup bag for several different products. the wax is used to define your eyebrows and shape them, and powder is there to fill in any sparse gaps, both are highly pigmented so you don't need to use much at all (I recommend using a very light hand with the powder if you don't want the 'drawn on' effect eyebrows). I have worn this all day, had a nap, brushed my hand against my brows and the product hasn't budged! it really does stay on all day and you don't have to worry about having an unattractive eyebrow smear down your face halfway through the day.
I have been using this everyday since January and have hardly made a dent in it. also if you want your eyebrows to look even more natural, buy an eyebrow brush/spoolie to help brush out a bit of the product.
If you don't want to splurge £23.50 on this kit, there are cheaper alternatives to this product (Sleek, MUA etc...) but I think I will continue to repurchase benefit brow zings because I have never had any problems with it and I love it, 100% a holy grail product of mine.

What products do you use on your eyebrows?
